Best & Loyd Oyster 50 Pendant Light Fixture

Haven't heard of the lighting manufacturer Best & Loyd? That's because these high end lights are ordinarily only purchased through designers. Best & Loyd doesn't do business with the "public". Only designers who then mark up the fixture from it's original production price. Prices online for this light were as much as 25,000! We were stunned. Why so expensive?

We here at Murco did a little digging and spoke with a representative here in Chicago. He gave us the skinny on the light as to why it's so expensive. All the glass balls on it are handmade. The fabricated metal rings around each ball are welded by hand and plated in polished nickel. The glass balls are actually clear but take on muted tones because they reflect the metal bands surrounding them. It's an incredible handmade piece from start to finish and a real show stopper!

We can confidently say this is the best deal on this light you can possibly get. We've based our pricing on the production cost only and remember, this light is not directly available unless it's through a designer... UNTIL NOW!
